Time and space are funny. They seem so fixed as concepts, but when you look at them closely, they feel so variable.
For example, an hour of waiting could feel like forever. But that same hour spent watching Netflix or scrolling through reels can feel like just 10 minutes.
And then you also have the quantum physics aspect of it.
Time and space are modes by which we think and not conditions in which we live.
Albert Einstein
According to Einstein, time and space are relative rather than absolute. This means that the rate at which time passes depends on your frame of reference.
Amazing, right?
And while I don’t pretend to fully understand the Theory of Relativity, I can appreciate that there is so much more to the world than we think we understand.
I guess I’m bringing this up because 24 hours ago, I was just in front of my desktop in the Philippines, worrying about whether I’ll be able to make it past immigration.
Now, after being reacquainted with the magic of airports, I’m facing this magnificent view of the Asian skies.
About 22 hours ago, I was walking my dogs and we stopped by a nearby 711. Pretty soon, I’ll be in a foreign mall so far away from home!
That said, I’m happy to be where I am now and excited to be reunited with my fur babies in about 96+ hours!
